The 7 Brew Coffee drive-thru planned for 800 Route 38 won't get its hearing this week after all.

The Cherry Hill Planning Board adjourned the application from its Tuesday, Aug. 18 meeting to Tuesday, Sept. 8, at the applicant's request. No reason for the delay was given in the public notice.

The project, filed by G7B II, LLC under application #25-P-0041, would demolish the former Delcrest Medical building on a triangular lot bordered by Route 38, Longwood Avenue and Alder Street, just east of the Walmart Supercenter. In its place: a 510-square-foot drive-thru-only coffee shop with a 260-square-foot refrigerated storage cooler connected by a covered breezeway.

The Planning Board agenda shows the applicant is seeking preliminary and final major site plan approval along with bulk, canopy and sign variances. The drive-thru layout calls for two ordering lanes plus a bypass lane. There would be no dine-in seating.

Customer traffic would enter and exit from Route 38 and Longwood Avenue; Alder Street would not have access into the property, according to 42Freeway, which first reported the proposal.

The application package filed with the township includes a traffic impact study, an NJDOT major permit access application, an environmental impact statement and a zoning relief memorandum, all dated between late April and mid-May.

7 Brew, founded in 2017 in Rogers, Arkansas, now operates more than 800 locations across 38 states, according to USA Today. The chain has already opened in Washington Township, Egg Harbor Township, Sicklerville and Blackwood, with additional South Jersey locations planned or approved for Voorhees, Lawnside, Berlin Township, Lumberton and Vineland.
