Ten Cherry Hill businesses earned reader-voted honors in SJ Magazine's 2026 Best of SJ Audience Poll, published Monday, Aug. 31.
The winners span dining, desserts and bridal wear across the township's busiest commercial strips.
The Kibitz Room, the New York-style Jewish deli at 100 Springdale Road open since 2003, took Best Deli. The Philadelphia Inquirer noted on Aug. 26 that Cherry Hill "remains a stalwart in local Jewish deli culture" as another traditional deli shuttered in Philadelphia.
Ponzio's, the family-run diner on Route 70 near the former Ellisburg Circle, won Best Diner. The restaurant has operated since 1964 and has employed more than 10,000 people over its six decades in business.
Caffe Aldo Lamberti at 2011 Route 70 West claimed Best Italian Restaurant. Founded by Naples native Aldo Lamberti, the restaurant holds a Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence for its 1,220-selection wine program.
Two Cherry Hill winners share a corporate parent. Eddie V's Prime Seafood at 2000 Route 38 near the Cherry Hill Mall won Best Cocktails, and The Capital Grille took Best Steakhouse. Both are owned by Darden Restaurants. Maggiano's won Best Kid-friendly Restaurant, and Silver Diner earned Best Milkshake.
Classic Cake, the specialty bakery at 480 E. Evesham Road, was named Best Wedding Cake. In the bridal and formalwear categories, Laura & Leigh Bridal on Church Road won Best Bridal Shop, with wedding dresses ranging from $1,700 to $9,000. Jan's Boutique on Marlton Pike East, which stocks more than 15,000 dresses, took Best Prom Dress.
SJ Magazine collected votes from its social media followers and print readers over several months. Voting closed July 31.
"This is all YOU!" author Ellen Errichetti wrote in the September 2026 issue. "Oh, next time you're headed out … buy local!"
