Cherry Hill's "80's Revolution" concert at Barclay Farmstead won't happen.
The township posted a cancellation of the Tuesday Music Under the Stars show, which had been scheduled for 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the historic venue on 209 Barclay Lane.
Cherry Hill fell under Tornado Watch 507 on Tuesday, with all of Camden County under a Flood Watch through the evening. The National Weather Service rated most of New Jersey at a Level 3 out of 5 risk for severe weather, with 2 to 3 inches of rain per hour possible in some areas.
The series' standing policy, per the township's announcement in June, is that "concerts are canceled in the event of rain."
The good news for fans: the final concert of the summer series is still on the calendar. "40 North Country" is scheduled for Tuesday, July 28, at 7 p.m. at Barclay Farmstead. The township's July 28 listing reads "Save the date — details coming soon," but the series announcement confirms the format: free admission, food trucks, Mechanical Brewery beverages and live music on the farmstead's grounds.
Parking is available at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 499 Marlton Pike East, with a free shuttle running from 6 to 9 p.m. On-site parking at Barclay Farmstead is reserved for guests with handicap placards. The farmstead is also a half-mile walk from the church lot.
The three-concert 2026 series opened Tuesday, July 14, with "Fearless," a Taylor Swift tribute act. Sponsors include Melitta, TD Bank, Wegmans, Raising Cane's, Remington & Vernick Engineers, and the Cherry Hill Alliance on Alcohol & Drug Abuse.
Residents with questions can contact the township at 856-488-7868 or [email protected].
